Trinity Teacup is committed to raising healthy Pomeranian puppies and placing them with families who can provide lifelong care. This Health Guarantee explains what you can expect from us, what we provide at pickup, and what we ask from you to protect your puppy’s wellbeing. Our puppies leave with age appropriate veterinary care completed and clear documentation for your records. Please read this page carefully, because good health is a shared responsibility built on sensible routines and timely veterinary support.
What We Provide Before Your Puppy Goes Home
Each puppy is raised with daily observation and careful attention to appetite, growth, movement, coat condition, and overall comfort. Veterinary care is arranged as needed, and puppies receive age appropriate vaccinations and worming prior to going home, with dates recorded for you and your veterinarian. A basic health check is completed before pickup to ensure your puppy is bright, eating well, and showing normal development for their age. Puppies are introduced to gentle handling, early grooming routines, and typical household sounds to support confidence and reduce stress during transitions. Guidance is also provided on feeding routines, safe handling for small breeds, and settling in during the first nights. A puppy pack may include notes on food, care routines, and recommended supplies so you can maintain consistency and avoid sudden changes that can upset a young puppy’s stomach.
Your First Veterinary Visit and Ongoing Care
A veterinary check should be booked soon after bringing your puppy home. This visit is important for establishing care, confirming weight and general health, and planning the next vaccinations and parasite prevention schedule. Owners are responsible for ongoing vaccinations, worming, flea control, and general health care for the life of the dog. Diet, safe exercise, and routine grooming also play a major role in long term wellbeing, especially for a breed with a thick coat and a small frame. Supervision is essential around children, stairs, high furniture, and other pets, because small puppies can be injured easily. Training and socialisation should continue gently and consistently, using positive methods and short sessions that keep confidence high. Health concerns should be addressed promptly with your veterinarian, since early treatment often prevents complications. Trinity Teacup remains available for general guidance, especially during the settling period.
Guarantee Coverage and Timeframes
This guarantee is provided to the original purchaser and applies from the date your puppy goes home. If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a serious, life limiting congenital condition within the guarantee period, we ask to receive written confirmation including diagnosis, supporting findings, and recommended treatment. A second opinion from a veterinarian of our choosing may be requested, with reasonable cooperation from the owner. If the diagnosis is confirmed, we will work with you toward a fair outcome. Options may include a replacement puppy from a future litter when available, or another resolution agreed in writing, depending on circumstances. Veterinary fees, travel costs, and general expenses are not covered unless otherwise stated in writing. Conditions caused by injury, neglect, poor nutrition, parasite exposure due to missed prevention, or unsafe handling are not covered. Good record keeping is important, so please retain vet invoices and vaccination records.
Exclusions, Stress Related Issues, and Common Puppy Conditions
New puppies can experience short term issues during transition, including mild digestive upset, temporary appetite changes, or anxiety related behaviours. These are often linked to changes in food, routine, or environment and usually improve with consistency and a calm settling plan. Such issues are not considered grounds for a claim under the health guarantee. Cosmetic traits, coat changes, adult size variation, and minor bite changes are also not covered, as these can develop naturally as puppies mature. Parasites can occur in puppies even with responsible care, so ongoing prevention and follow up with your veterinarian is essential. Owners are expected to provide safe housing, appropriate supervision, and correct nutrition for a toy breed. Any signs of lethargy, vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing, limping, or distress should be assessed by a veterinarian promptly. Delays in seeking care may affect eligibility under this guarantee.
If You Need to Make a Claim
Contact Trinity Teacup as soon as possible if a health concern arises. Provide your puppy’s full name, date of birth, the date symptoms began, and clear information from your veterinarian. Written veterinary documentation is required for all claims, including the diagnosis and supporting evidence. Photographs, lab results, and treatment plans may be requested to help us understand the situation. Cooperation and timely communication help ensure your puppy receives the best support and allow us to review the matter fairly. No decisions can be made based on verbal summaries alone. Please avoid changing veterinarians mid claim unless necessary, since consistent records matter. Trinity Teacup aims to act with care and transparency, while prioritising the puppy’s welfare and making decisions that are reasonable for both parties.
